Training

At High Hopes Eventing Farm we offer private or group lessons that specialize in 3-Day Eventing and Hunter/Jumper riding. You can trailer your horse in (with a current negative coggins), or if you do not own your own horse we can provide a suitable mount for your level of experience and interest. We do monthly hacks at the Sebastian Buffer State Preserve and travel to Ocala on a regular basis for Cross Country Schools at the prestigious Rocking Horse Stables.

Riding Lessons are held Monday – Friday after 4pm, and weekends 12-6pm.

Rates

*Lessons on the Farm

  • 1 hour Private lesson $85
  • 45 minute lesson $70
  • 30 minute lesson $55
  • Training Ride on your own horse $55
  • Monthly Training (includes 4-5 days a week of training) $1,000
  • Helmets are Mandatory and safety vests are recommended. Horse and Tack included in lesson fee or you can use your own.

Lessons at Your Farm

  • 1 hour Private lesson $95
  • 45 minute lesson $80
  • 30 minute lesson $65
  • Training Ride $75
  • Prices above are for local Vero Beach lessons, but we are also available for out of town lessons.
  • Training Ride $75 + travel expenses (out of town)
  • Mileage will follow the
    current standard mileage rates.

*Clinics

  • High Hopes Eventing Farm - $300
  • Your facility - $400
  • For ½ day (3 hours) up to 5 riders

Excursions

  • XC Schooling at Rocking Horse Stables $500
  • Trail Ride at the Sebastian Buffer $150

Horse Showing

  • Local Horse show (within 20 miles) - $275 per day
  • Semi long Distance Horse Show (within 200 miles) - $525 per day
  • Long Distance Horse Show (over 200 miles) - $775 per day.
    Price may be adjusted to compensate mileage.
  • These prices include: transportation of horse, use of horse and equipment, trainers' fee and accommodations, unlimited class entries. These prices do NOT include any horse show fees including: stabling, admin fees, class fees etc.

Buying & Selling Your Horse

  • Includes professional advice and input, lesson, and help in the negotiating process
  • 10% Commission on selling your current horse
  • 10% Commission on helping you find a suitable horse for yourself
  • $75 Pre-Purchase Evaluation plus travel expenses

*Schooling at the Farm

  • $25 includes access to XC jumps, show jumps, dressage ring, and water for your horse

Leasing a Farm Horse

  • $750 partial lease (3 days per week)
  • $1,000 full lease (5 days per week)
  • Includes boarding, farrier visits, regular scheduled vet appointments, feed and hay. Does not include emergency costs. If you are leasing a farm horse you must take one lesson per month (fee not included in lease).

Boarding

  • $500 Partial Board: Includes feeding 2x per day, pastures dragged weekly, 50lb salt block in each pasture, shelter from rain, hold horse for regularly scheduled farrier and vet visits. Emergency holds are $75 per hour.
  • $1,000 Full Board: Includes feeding 2x per day (grain provided), pastures dragged weekly, 50lb salt block in each pasture, shelter from rain, hold horse for regularly scheduled farrier and vet visits. Emergency holds are $75 per hour.
  • $2,000 Training Board: Includes 4-5 rides per week, feeding 2x per day (grain provided), pastures dragged weekly, 50lb salt block in each pasture, shelter from rain, hold horse for regularly scheduled farrier and vet visits. Emergency holds are $75 per hour.
  • Includes boarding, farrier visits, regular scheduled vet appointments, feed and hay. Does not include emergency costs. If you are leasing a farm horse you must take one lesson per month (fee not included in lease).

* If you are trailering your horse to High Hopes Eventing Farm, you must present a current negative Coggins
and sign a Hold Harmless Release.
